How Consignment Works

How Consignment Works

Estates To Go offers an online consignment marketplace for estate items. Sellers submit items for review, and approved listings are published to our store to reach a broader audience of buyers.

Consignment is not an appraisal service and does not guarantee sale price, timing, or outcome.

Step 1

Submit items

Sellers submit item details and photos through the Consignment Portal. Each item requires one listing credit.

Step 2

Review process

Submissions are reviewed for category fit, basic completeness, and marketplace suitability. Not all items are approved.

Step 3

Listing goes live

Approved items are published to the Estates To Go online store and made available to buyers.

Important Things to Know

No guarantees

Estates To Go does not guarantee that any item will sell, the price it may sell for, or how long it may take to sell.

Listing credits are non-refundable

Listing credits are used to submit items for review. Credits are not refundable, regardless of approval status or sale outcome.

Pricing & decisions

Listing prices may be adjusted or recommended based on marketplace conditions. Sellers remain responsible for deciding whether to proceed with consignment.

Right to decline

Estates To Go reserves the right to decline or remove listings that do not meet marketplace guidelines or operational requirements.

Who Consignment Is Best For

Consignment works best for sellers who want broader buyer exposure and are comfortable with a structured review process rather than a one-day, on-site estate sale.

If you are unsure whether consignment is appropriate, start with an Estate Analyst Review.
